Something About studio 1.4

Studio1.4 is the fourth in a chain of artist-run spaces emanating from a sympathy

with the dissenting voice that is studio1.1 [London].

Ideas are shared and connections are made across boundaries that become more and more artificial,

the only one that makes any sense anymore is: With us or against us.

Putting ourselves firmly outside the mainstream commercial circuit – our collective counterpoint

is a serious commitment to serious contemporary art in all its forms.

We think for ourselves.

And we love Richard Foreman.

Who is best: Jonny Hannah, Daniel Devlin or Herzog Dellafiore?
There are two sides to studio1.4’s exhibition Who is best: Jonny Hannah, Daniel Devlin or Herzog Dellafiore? – the highbrow, priceless art presented on white walls, and the unkempt, bargain-brow items displayed as affordable art tokens. This is an art bazaar of contemporary practices with a twist.
